How we rate

A rating from 0 to 100

A brand’s rating is the average quality score of its products – the same scores you see in our price lists. No brand can pay for a better rating.

  1. 1

Every product gets a quality score

From 0 to 100, counted from the label: independent testing, the form of the ingredient, whether every amount is listed, and additives.

  2. 2

    The brand gets the average

We add up the scores of all its products we checked and divide by how many there are. Nothing else counts – no extra points for size or fame.

  3. 3

    Price stays separate

A cheap brand isn’t rated higher or lower for it. Where its products land in our price lists is shown on its page, next to the rating.

  • At least 3 products. With only one or two scored products, a rating would say little – those brands show “Not rated yet”. Products we couldn’t score don’t count.
  • What we don’t rate: taste, what a supplement does for you, or a brand’s marketing. Not medical advice. Logos come from each brand’s own website and are shown only to identify the brand.
